General Counsel & Chief Commercial Officer

Alex Rose serves as General Counsel and Chief Commercial Officer at QII, where he leads legal and commercial strategy and the large-scale transactions that power QII’s infrastructure business. His career spanning top-tier legal practice and operational leadership brings both strategic insight and disciplined execution as QII scales.

Before joining QII, Alex was a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he advised on transformative transactions across energy and infrastructure. His work included mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, recapitalizations, privatizations, and strategic investments.

Following his time at Kirkland, Alex served as General Counsel of Ashford Inc. and its affiliated public companies, leading legal, governance, and compliance across a portfolio of operating businesses. He built high-performing legal teams while working closely with executive leadership and investors to manage enterprise-level risk.

As QII accelerates development across powered sites, digital infrastructure, and next-generation energy delivery, Alex ensures the company executes with clarity and delivers on its commitments.

He earned his J.D. from Columbia Law School and his B.S. from the University of Kansas and is admitted to practice law in Texas and New York. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Dallas Foundation.
