Alex began his distinguished career in the United States Air Force after commissioning as a Second Lieutenant upon graduating from Missouri University of Science and Technology through the ROTC program in December 1994.
He entered active duty in February 1995, initially serving as an avionics engineer in the F-16 System Program Office at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
Driven by a passion for flight, he transitioned into pilot training at Vance AFB, Oklahoma, and went on to fly some of the most advanced aircraft in the Air Force arsenal.
Over the course of his 21-year career, Alex served as a pilot of the F-15, F-117, and the B-2 Spirit stealth bomber, with assignments at Tyndall AFB and Mountain Home AFB, Holloman AFB, and ultimately Whiteman AFB in Missouri.
His journey from engineer to elite pilot showcased not only his technical expertise but also his leadership and dedication to mission success.
Alex retired at the rank of Lieutenant Colonel on January 1, 2017, leaving behind a legacy of excellence and service that continues to inspire those around him.
