Chad Williams
Chairman & CEOChad L. Williams is Chairman and CEO of Quality Growth Companies (QGC), the family-led business-building platform he founded with his wife, Jeannie. For more than two decades, Chad has built businesses and assets designed to create lasting value.
One of the earliest examples of that approach was QTS, which Chad founded and led as CEO. What began as a single data center facility in Overland Park, Kansas, grew under his leadership into a leading data center infrastructure platform. QTS went public on the New York Stock Exchange in 2013, was taken private by Blackstone in a $10 billion transaction in 2021, and had grown into a reported $60 billion company by the time Chad stepped down in 2025.
That growth came from early preparation, strong relationships, and a clear understanding of what complex infrastructure requires before demand arrives. Those lessons continue to shape Chad’s work through QGC.
He has been recognized with the Frost & Sullivan Global Visionary Innovation Leadership Award and was invited to the White House Roundtable on U.S. Leadership in AI Infrastructure in 2024.
Chad and Jeannie continue to lead QGC with a long-term view, building, operating, and investing across real estate, infrastructure, technology, automotive heritage, and community impact. The platform includes QII, QMotorsports, Real Estate & Investments, and QFoundation, each shaped by the same standard of quality growth.
Chad’s work is grounded in stewardship and a people-first view of business. He believes lasting value starts with taking care of people and building responsibly for the businesses, communities, and investments entrusted to QGC.
People. Forward.
